Pity me! I'm still sore as hell from rollerderby skating last Thursday. When I go down the stairs, my right knee wants to give out, so I clomp down the stairs like a monster. When I first wake up, I can barely roll out out bed because all of my muscles are so tender. It's my own fault. I didn't stretch at all before I started skating, but I still want pity! I hope I'm better before Thursday rolls around again or I won't be able to skate! I need all the practice I can get because the first bout is 30 Sept.

Pity me for reals, and Nanashi too, as it's quite hot in our old house and one of our fans blew up last night. Every store in Seattle is sold out of fans. And Nanashi won't stop complaining.

Awwwww... poor TheVeganMary, Nanashi, and Miso!
TVM, remember: "pain is weakness leaving your body". I saw that spray-painted on a crazy-steep hill I biked up in the beginning of a day-long ride. It makes sense! Miso and Nanashi, come on down to Chico! It's only 91 F right now. At 11:45pm. But at least I have a fan! Plus, by dawn it will probably be down to 78 F.
